Collection Evaluation; Knowing What You Have and What You Need October 16, 2010 Fall Workshop
Here is the slightly modified PRU spreadsheet with formulas added so that librarians can model how their PRU would change if they added or weeded their collection. It still functions the same except that instead of manually entering % of circulation or % of collection, the spreadsheet now calculates this automatically. This allows a librarian to see what happens if for example they add 10 books in a particular category and take 5 away from another category - all the % will automatically change. Having spent 8 years as a financial analyst for IBM, this is right up Lauren Super's alley, if you have any questions or need assistance please contact her at lsuper@pinerichland.org.
